I've been lurking for a long time on this forum, much longer than my account has existed, and I always enjoyed reading your perspective whenever you'd pop into a thread. Your posts were well thought out and constructive enough that even the inevitable dog-pilers couldn't really get you down.
I feel the same way as you on this matter, but I'm strongly hoping that the things I look forward to will make up for (or even better: exceed) the things that disappoint me. Hopefully it will be the same for you too, but if it doesn't pan out, at least know you won't be alone.
