isn't it amazing that the stuff you used to hate when your a kid
isn't all that bad, after you "grow up" a little.....

parsnips used to be on my favorite list of hated foods,

Your tastes definatly mature as you get older. I think when you are younger you want more intense stuff, as you get older you get to like more subtle things as well.

I dont like tomato, I dont mind it cooked into things (Especially pasta and sauces) but I couldnt just sit down and eat a tomato.

P.S Bleh! I used to hate it when my parents would make me stay at the table "Till Id finished everything". Why is it everyones parents seem to do this??

i'm the exact opposite that you, mandrake. i love raw tomatos, but i really can't take too much cooked tomato.

Its bizzare the way peoples tastes vary.

I cant eat cooked carrot, when its all soft and mushy its ick, but I love it raw.

But we surely talked about food a lot. -about my coleague that is a vegie too and all kind of recipies and healthy food-
