You don't get to open your presents before Christmas, now do you?

May be hirelings can be permanent only if you pay them every long rest, it'd be kinda cool. May be only for hardcore difficulty? Also, I'd like them to have some cinematic dialogue as well, maybe a couple of lines, but at least something to make them feel an integral part of the world. I don't want just ragdolls.

It's always an option to make extra character(s) with the multiplayer trick. I still don't know what I'll be doing because I would like to have sorcerer in my party but I don't like to have sorcerer as my main character and there is no sorcerer companion except the hirelings.

Afaik the hirelings work like DOS2, they stay with you until discharged.

Just hope to god the custom party of 4 workaround still works...Otherwise my adventure will be over as quick as it begins. =/
