This was a solidly good game, but....

After my warrior swiftly dispatched the Demon of Lies, the concluding cutscene was anticlimactic. With dozens of hours of good gameplay preceding it, the end deserved to be more arousing with a few words of denouement. And––as all games do––this one had its moments of irritation. My inventory would fight me when I tried to arrange things the way I wanted, and I did not need to be told time after time after time that I was carrying too much and I needed to drop something.

Yet so doggone much was good about it, I shall forget the game's quirks. I will probably buy and play Riftrunner if its quality matches that of Divine Divinity. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/riftrunner.gif" alt="" />
