I thought the freezes would be related to the bottlenecking by CPU and loading a lot of assets to avoid loading screens in larger areas.
In my case the minimum CPU Requirement should be met because the requirement of an i5-4690 is just the same CPU with only standard clocked with 3900 MHz. Everthing inside is just same. Only difference is that i OCed mine to 4100.

The Freezes started around patch 7 or 8 in Early access and where persistent in patch 9 too.
What changed ofver the patches is that more grafical details where implemented and thus Textures lload is higher.
This is what i assume.

But so far no one at Larian gave some insight to this freezing issues.
I really do hope they are gone in release version. Its too annoying on my PC when i get those freezes between 30 sec to one minute. Depending on how many NPCs and complexity of Level Geometry are in the general Area and needed to be loaded in.

Can somebody confirm this?
Or better a software solution to this freezing, implemented pls!

I can confirm having the same issues with i5-6500 CPU. Short, 5-10s freezes, happening randomly, sometimes more, sometimes less often. I can see the game's CPU usage goes close to max during those moments.

Sometimes the game can go on for up to 30 minutes without any freezes, but eventually it always starts freezing, regardless of the settings (I tried probably all combinations). Apart from the freezes the game runs perfectly fine on ultra.

I tried all the proposed solutions: different resolutions, windowed/fullscreen, lowest possible graphic settings, capping framerate/refresh rate, DX11 client, running as admin and/or in compatibility mode, with or without Steam launcher, full game reinstall, updating all chipset and graphic drivers, turning off all other programs, and several other solutions found online, but nothing helps.

I had those isses with EA many months ago already and put the game down back then due to this. Now came back to check again before the release and it is still not fixed. It makes me worried for the release.

Edit: I am also pretty sure this is not caused by faulty RAM or SSD, because I replaced both recently and still experiencing same issues.
