Ok, I get why you think it's a political thing.
It's not meant to be though. It's just that american companies try to force THEIR way on the rest of the world all the time.

And I really just mean companies here, I don't want to talk about those other topics, really, let it go.

It's something I've seen more than once in my professional life, where I have to swallow my pride and just smile and wave. I have seen it more than once in my private life due to Steam and other companies, which simply can't seem to accept they are not the center of the world.

And honestly I'm sick of it. Especially since I'm quite™ sure (grain of salt, take it) that Steams contacts force companies like Larian to not release anything earlier on day GoG than they do on Steam.
At least I never saw a GoG release of a game happen earlier than the Steam release despite those guys being polish.



As to that other person asking if it's me wanting it before others or the agony of waiting: I'd have thought a midnight release per timezone would be much fairer. Wake up, download, play, be happy.
