@Niara you were the best part of EA. When I finished your threads I thought to myself "that could have been a master's thesis" Your contributions were thoughtful, detailed and insightful. And you expressed yourself so very well!
I totally feel the same, all of her posts were so well articulated.
I'm sorry you feel dissatisfied Niara. On a game like this, so big and trying to appeal to such a broad audience, I would have been surprised if even 1% of the total feedback would have been implemented. Unless you can speak directly with the team, such as for games of much smaller studios, I think these EA for massive projects like this are more of a bug-finding/performance analysis testing periods, more than suggestions-collecting ones.
Still, to my surprise, I think well more than that 1%, even if not enough to make it a "perfect" game, was taken into account by Larian and I'm pretty sure a lot of what was changed was also part of your constructive feedback.
Try to look at it from this perspective: even if this game will not reach the full potential you envision, it will nonetheless be a more than enjoyable game set in the Forgotten Realms, one that many people thought would have never been produced.
There are no perfect games, and this sure won't be the first, but even with all the complaints I may have I think we will still have a very good experience ahead of us. I don't know if it is going to be the new coming of the Lord as some people are writing online, but I'm pretty sure is going to be an exciting game to play.
And it is going to be so, thanks to your constant and constructive contribution too.
So thanks Niara, you have been a Nat20.
