This is outright one of the worst takes I've yet seen. Let's start with the obvious, what do you mean by "half the spells"? The final game will have over 600 spells and I am pretty sure BG2 didn't have over 1200. Next one, the number of acts is irrelevant and artificial...acts can be divided into small chapters of less than five hours each in which case BG3 would have at least 30, or into 200 hour acts in which case BG3 would have one. BG3 if you explore everything and so as much as is possible in one playthrough will be at least 150 hours though more reasonably well over 200 as the average time to complete the early access content was 70 hours and in the final game act 1 will ~33% larger and the act will account for less than a quarter of the game. Next, how do you know how many items the final game will have? Do you assume that the items datamined from early access are all there is? Horrible take. And for the companions it's not about quantity but about quality...all companions have in BG3 have very expansive stories far larger than anything BG2 companions had.
