Well, at least I'm not pissed-venting anymore, but thanks to you and a few others it's more like coping-venting

I'm having trouble believing the steam forum can be that bad. Now I'm going to have to go check it out and see for myself.

The game has nudity, and it does also in fact have poo throwing, so maybe you were semi-prophetic about some loud character in the game just now.

On a more on-topic note - I think I came to terms with the launch hour. Originally was hoping to start downloading, head to work, and play in the evening, but since the game comes out in time of me getting home from work I'll just download it at night and have a whole day to play on the 4th!

Because yes, you are looking (reading...?) at a lucky woman that got a free day off work on friday!

Eh...not sure why someone would get so incensed about this. Since when did we want another BG game? 22 years? And now we get it 34 days early and people complain that's it's in practice only 33 days? Weird. Very weird.

I'm just glad that there's enough time between the official release and Friday afternoon here in Germany, so that even with download delays I can probably start playing when I get home from work for the weekend.

Don't do it ... just ... don't. I was there today and it is not pretty.

I ended up going and looking briefly. Most of it seemed like thread titles that were on topic to the game, but there were a couple threads I noticed that brought culture war topics into the forefront. Which is about the last thing I want to listen to people discuss, certainly after the last years of having been forced to hear folks arguing and hating each other all the time.

Perhaps our forum's slow speed filters out the impatient. It could be our mod's most effective tool!
