I didn't mention hirelings, was talking about camp followers into the party.
Ok ...
But i still dont see any corelation between recruiting other member, and inability to get rid of curent one.

[quote=Lotus Noctus]Kill her and do not revive her. Ideally on the Nautiloid or throw her into some chasm.
I dont think you understand the issue here ...
Its not a problem to kill her, but when you do, she is still member of your party, just dead one.
Even if you kill her in your camp, while she is not one of your *active* party members, she is still concidered to belong to your group.
And that is what i want to change.
If you piss her off enough, for example via that knockouting ... then she leaves the party for good.
But i would like to have dialogue option to achieve the same result, if i dont want to have her around!
Just let the Goblins or Druids capture her, then she can rot in prison.

Not a possibility ...
You can only break rules with person who is in your active party ... and if you wish to remove someone from your active party, they simply travel back to your camp.
So besides it being impossible, it dont even help achieve my goal.

I think the way they handle companions in BG3 is not optimal. Basically, if you've met them and they're alive, they'll be in your camp. There is apparently no way for them to be in the world and alive, and not be in your camp.
Well, this isnt exactly acurate.
You have option to refuse Shadowheart to join your party ... aswell as any other Origin character as far as i know.
At the beach, in the Groove, and maybe even in Goblin camp after she rescues you from influence of The Absolute (not sure about this one tho).
So the game certainly recognize the option for her to travel on her own.
Problem starts once you accept them ...
Since that point you cannot ever just come to them and say: "Hey, i dont like your face, get lost!"
And that is what i dislike here. I think this option should be included for each and every companion somewhere.
They can leave you if they dont like you ... therefore we should have option to leave them if we dont like them.
As i was trying this yesterday, i finded out that you can send Astarion away as you find out that he is a Vampire ... and he will leave your party permanently ... just as if you never recruited him.
But with Shadowheart it just dont let you.
Sometimes i must try other companions.

As I said, since there is the dialogue option to send the companions away, I'm pretty sure the option will be in the finished game otherwise that dialogue option wouldn't make any sense.
And as i said, im "
a little more hopefull that fylimar was right, and this was just incomplete ..."
Im just not so sure that is the case ...
Since from the way it is said, our PC only say they dont want to "travel" with her anymore ... so that dialogue makes perfect sense as you travel futher without her, while she keep waiting in your camp. :-/

I think if she leaves us the story will conveniently put her near us, but not back at our camp... and probably make us face her if we already have the box and she left for some reason.
I would be perfectly fine with such outcome ...
If story requires Shadowheart to stick around our party ... let her stick around ... within acurate distance.
But if i throw her out of my camp, she shouldnt sit by fire as if nothing happened.
