They really should have just delayed it and released on mac/pc/and ps5 at the same time.
Why? Mac, PS5 and XBOX won’t get their game any earlier if it won’t release on other platforms. By that logic we should cancel the release and wait for XBOXS situation to be released. Perhaps wait for Larian to port to Switch as well.
If Larian released as they planned on 31 of August they would run into heavy competition with Starfield. I don’t think FOMO is worthwhile reason, to risk loosing sales.
