I think we all understand the problem, we want a way to kick someone out of the camp. Not just current party, the _camp_. Send them away never to be seen again. Well, they might show up later on their own travels, but they'll be just another NPC in the world, albeit with a tadpole.
Currently, we can't easily do so. We have to beat their reputation down, sacrifice them, hand them over to a monster hunter or infuriate them by siding with goblins.
Exiling one of the companions is a big deal. I would hope if it's an option, the other companions have opinions on it and maybe question why and/or their approval goes up or down as you'd expect, e.g. SH would be happy to see Lae'zel booted.
