Champion is actually my favorite fighter subclass, followed by Purple Dragon Knight/Banneret because it feels more "normal" than many of the other subclasses.
That being said, I really wish the martial classes wouldn't have such extreme vfx in BG 3... hopefully we can mod those out so a martial class doesn't feel like a caster visually.
