Do you remember good old days when clicking an icon on the desktop actually lauched games?)
We already have steam/gog that are launchers on their own with info, updates and a large button that says play. Plus accounts are connected. So why is there a need for another launcher?
I've redeemed codes for the game and decided to check if everything works. But after hitting play in steam another launcher pops up that I can't log in to because of server error message.
I could understand an optional in-game log-in for co-op, but why are solo players forced to log in and get punished when a server doesn't feel well or internet loses connection? When Diablo 3 and 4 launched, players were waiting in a queue to play a single-player campaign which is rediculous. BG3 is highly anticipated and during launch servers may choke so why step on the same rake?
