Okay, that’s not avoiding the discussion as I requested. My reason for that request is that intersexuality is real but rare, and I expect ignorant discussion of it can very easily be offensive to intersex people and their friends and family. And I am not qualified to either discuss it or moderate a discussion of it. And as there is no real reason to discuss it in order to say whether or not we personally want to see more configurable genitals in the game, there’s no public interest defence of having that conversation here, so let’s not.
It is also true that the specific request made by the OP would not allow the majority of the ways intersexuality presents to be represented in the game. And that the way the request was made does sound worryingly more like a request to fulfil a specific fetish than a desire for intersex representation. I have given them the benefit of the doubt, but have also said that fetishisation here is not okay so expect any further post to adhere to that guidance.
