Greenwood was way ahead of the curve on these issues. I remember some conference in the mid 90s when some audience member asked what he thought of people discovering they were trans via his game and he beamed and said he thought it was great.
That's not a difficult position to take today but in the mid 90s when people were still shocked by the idea of gay marriage it was a brave position to take.
