Wadjet Eye games are great, I especially like the sci-fi games they've published.
I honestly think Technobabylon would still be mentioned as a classic on par with the best LucasArts and Sierra works if released during the golden age of graphic adventures.
I agree completely, it's a shame that the medium has moved on. It seems the people making these games today are perpetually on the verge of folding. Outside Japan that is.
You know, adventure games seem like an easy place for AI generated games to start, generate the adventure, the choices, and even the artwork, maybe we'll see a resurgence there soon.
