Playing EA again to figure out what class I want to play for full release. Noticed some stuff is still not fixed as of patch 9.

Lighting - it's so bright everywhere, including the Underdark, that I constantly forget to use Light to remove the Disadvantage for non-Darkvision races. Why does a Human or Githyanki get Disadvantage for "Target Obscured" when they can see perfectly fine? Remove the darkness penalty or make it actually dark, please. I would prefer the latter because it's not dark anywhere, really. I get it the Underdark looks impressive when it's fully lit, but gameplay and atmosphere should be more important than showing off your level design skillz.

Attack of Opportunity indicator - constantly hidden under battlefield surfaces, grass, blood or whatever and it's simply impossible to tell whether or not you will get hit by an AoO. Make it CLEARER, please. Lift it mid-air or above head. Put a big red flashing sword above my move pointer if my move is triggering an AoO.

So hopefully the full release will finally fix these?

Well. Yes. I therefore find it odd you bring these things about EA up now, really. The EA will never, ever get an update. There will be things in the release on thursday that aren't great; and the game will be patched for another year, easily.

So. Yeah. That's it, really.

Fear my wrath, for it is great indeed.

I would suggest that we don't create new threads repeating issues we've already pointed out in EA at this time. Between us we have a lot of them and they're all on these forums somewhere already.

If it turns out they're not fixed come 3 August, that feels like the right time to start posting them anew.

Well, you're right in that Larian will probably be paying much more attention to feedback after release. Which reminds me to start taking notes as I play the full release so I don't forget anything.
