I am leaving the last 2 level open. Maybe she will be coming back to church (Cleric 2), maybe she becomes the perfect killer (Gloom 2), maybe she pursues power in general at the end (Gloom 1 / Assasin 1 for all three ASI). Who knows?

You sacrifice a lot, for example the second action of Ranger 5 or the great lvl 3 spells at Cleric 5 (till lvl 11 at least). I'm not sure why you want to multiclass into three classes. RP is ok but it seems you also want a bit of performance from the char.

Yeah, SH doesn't need the Gloom at all, she'll be super-invisible.

If that, I'd go Cleric 9 / Thief 3.

That way, you get:

2 times an ASI/Feat
5th level Spells
Bonus Bonus Action, great for a cleric [or for the hand crossbow]

Or

Cleric 8 / Thief 4
+ 3 times ASI/Feat
- No 5th level spells

Fear my wrath, for it is great indeed.

And here I am over here feeling super dirty just cause I want to give her perception and make her a Light cleric!

Playing a bard with persuasion stealth and lockpicking so a lot of the Trickery domain stuff is a bit superfluous in my party. But I want her in my party, so feeling a big ick playing her against type. While your Shadowheart has way more tinkering, it feels more like what the game has presented her to be this far.

Unfortunately, her sub-class is locked, but...

Don't worry, we are all pretty sure she is going to get her memories back and be a Light Domain Cleric of Selune.

Are you sure? I think Larian just said you can fully respec companions. Link below, and the pertinent part pasted.

"In Baldur’s Gate 3, you have the freedom to respec not only your chosen protagonist’s class but also that of your playable companions and pre-authored Origin characters, whether you’re looking to make a few adjustments to their existing build, you’ve got a burning desire to experiment with entirely new playstyles and class combinations, or you just want to create an all-badger supergroup. Keep in mind that certain Origin stories are closely intertwined with their characters' respective classes. If you’re opting for a non-cleric Shadowheart or a Wyll without his warlock pact, this will undoubtedly influence your roleplay options in dialogues and the overall narrative for these characters. But their stories will instead be yours to create."

In a recent interview Swen mentioned that you can change everything but two characters' sub-classes because they are tied to their identities. That's Shadowheart and Wyll. You can make them things other than a cleric and warlock, but if SH is a cleric, she is a shar worshiper, and if Wyll is a warlock, his pact is with a fiend.

I would love to tweak SH to light at the begining, too. But it seems like that probably isn't an option.
