I don't know if it entended. But every time I have the Beastmaster Ranger pets out, everything runs away. Including quest mobs like Sazza. Which bugged her out and she stayed at the goblin bridge, instead of introducing me to Minthara. Every time I tried to approach she run away. and even when I gave up and put the pet away, she would not leave the bridge. She just kept repeating what she say the same thing over at the wooden bridge. After defeating the leader I went back and she lay dead at the bridge so I was never able to get the reward for saving her. This is just an example but it has caused problems with other mobs if I leave it out.
So my solution was to summon it when I need it. But some conversations lead to a fight and you can't summon it in a fight. Unless you find a way to hide.
