No. No. No. No. No.
Whats there to suffer?
Just open your browser, find a stream, mute it ... and go do something else ... for example play your own Baldur's Gate 3. laugh

Registering / making an account at Twitch, giving them some of my personal data in the process or having to set up a fake e-mail adress for that purpose, despite not being interested at all in this platform. That's already too much effort to begin with... I'm not a fan of gaming streamers at all talking bullshit and trying to be funny or their typical audience of 13 year olds with no life having nothing better to do than watching others play games. I completely reject Twitch and I don't want to partake in that, neither do I want to give some idiot streamer an additional view (even if I let it run in the background and muted) nor waste some of my bandwith for it. It's a pain in the ass to go through this, if you want to have the outfit for the sake of simply having it, despite it being, you know ... purple.

I get it. The question is - will "A played Origin" have ability for romances and/or flings with non-companion NPCs?

I certainly hope so, especially with one or two particular Tieflings from the grove!

Actually this news makes me quite sad and I am questioning if Larian is a studio I want to support at all. Of course, as one of millions, I hardly matter here, but I might as well express my thoughts.

You wanted news, you got news.

Now do you want the purple panties or not?
Under no circumstances do I intend to support political influencers in any capacity, but as far as the detestable breadtube goes, I suppose Abigail is the least nauseating. I can make my peace with it if she’s the fullest extent. It’s not like Corbyn is voicing Boo 😆 (would never happen. But if it did I would refund my steam copy).

I shall forgo the purple panties, but forgive Larian for this minor transgression. I’m not mad, just disappointed 😔.

I'm willing to bet that no one in charge of hiring her has any idea what Breadtube is. She's a professional actress outside of youtube, so she probably just auditioned, got the part, they saw she has a youtube channel that talks about philosophy and thought "oh cool, she's got a youtube following, let's mention that!"

I choose to believe you’re right. Abigail has done plenty of interesting things that have nothing to do with the rest of those influencers, so… I’ll calm down I suppose.

Hi Everyone,

My folks and I have been playing the early access for a long time now and one of them told me he wanted to play it after launch on PS5.

Is there a way to refund his early access key or to trade it for a PS5 copy ?

I have no idea what Abigail and breadtube are, and I'm not sure how twitch streamers of bg3 are politically related?

I'm not saying you're wrong. I just feel like I heard something about purple panties, and then something about politics, followed by the name Abigail, and now I'm wandering around in the Underdark without darkvision! I'm really worried now that I'm about to stumble into a breadtube monster.

Leftists. But not all of them are "leftists." It's a catch-all term for political content creators ranging from left to far-left to very far-left.
Also by left, not "American Left" which is liberal. More like "International Left" which is socialist, communist, anarchist, or other collectivist ideology.
Also, as it is a catch-all term, there is a lot of people in that space with contradictory viewpoints and styles. Some are rather chill, and others are toxic garbage.

Lmao.
I've taken on some political projects in the past in my line of work. Anything (geo)politics immediately turns off the humor portion of my brain. And I have friends who watch that stuff who try to tell me how to do my job. I really hate when people who are not in my line of work tell me how to do my job. It's one of the few things that gets me extraordinarily angry.

I play games because I want to escape, like many others. I do not like it when things intrude on my escape.

HOW CAN YOU GET YOUR PURPLE PANTIES IF YOU DON'T WATCH YOUR TWITCH?

*

I try to stay away from all things politic these days. Part of why I come here, I suppose, is to escape, you know? So I really don't know much about the leanings of sites and such. I usually just dip out when someone starts going on about whatnot.

There are a couple of twitch streamers I've checked out, and neither of them have mentioned anything political.

One is called MunkyRadio.

The other is a fellow who just started streaming about two weeks ago named BalanceLOH. (BalanceLOH is new to the game so he's fun to watch, plus he's pretty consistent at narrating what's going on and talking to chat.)

I'm sure they both have their own politics, but I've never heard them mention anything other than their enjoyment of bg3.

I'll probably watch one of them to get my own pair of purple panties. I'm not sure why I want purple panties. But if they're handing 'em out... I mean, it's not like I'm gonna wear them.

*

Normally I watch youtube when it comes to bg3 content. The two content creators I think know the most about the game are JibunFade and Casual Veteran Gamer. They're both extremely knowledgeable and capable. Well worth watching, in my opinion.

I also always make a point to check out Woflheart because I think he's a big part of the early access journey, and I appreciate that about him.

But none of those folks are offering purple panties, so what's a fella to do?

The royal panties doth tempt one so.

Would be great if Wolfheart got associated Wolf garments in game though. He’s always been pulling for this game, almost obsessively so.

The streamers sound fun… I wonder if this game could spawn new kinds of streams with audience interaction, potent if paired with someone of genuine charisma or improv humor capabilities.

Yeah, I hear what you're saying, and I'd love to do it, but I just don't know if I have the time.

You should consider it!
