For my run with the Oathbreaker I made a beeline to where the Hellspawn were tormenting Miss Mottled Toad (
"Mottled Toad? O'rly? Have they looked in the mirror lately? And those rat tails! Like totally eww!") to backstab them for the sub-class change
I think you can lose your oath much earlier as Durge, someone else on here came up with that name also easier to say then Dark Urge Everytime, but anyways I think eating Gale's hands would automatically go against the oath of devotion, at least I know that my Durge Paladin Anakin will bring Peace, Freedom, Justice and Security to his NEW Empire.
the first time I read about DArk Urge, I immediately thought about Anakin´s trilogy...this is totally suited for an Anakin-type Paladin character.
only thing is... I am quite sure the Emperor said Peace, ORDER and Justice..wasn´t it ?!
You sure he mentioned freedom ? Like...individual freedom ?

Anyway...maybe someday my Deep Gnome Fighter->Mage...a.k.a. GrandMaster Yoda - may meet your Dar- I mean - Anakin OathBreaker in a final combat...haha..
Of course...your character got the Illithid dark side powers ... but as an Oathbreaker you still got that Aura of +4 charisma to saves ?!
That is a bit unfair...
anyway...good luck in your Anakin storyline...it will probably be wilder than my boring Yoda-type path... just remember... "fear leads to anger..etc etc..."
