I'm willing to bet that no one in charge of hiring her has any idea what Breadtube is. She's a professional actress outside of youtube, so she probably just auditioned, got the part, they saw she has a youtube channel that talks about philosophy and thought "oh cool, she's got a youtube following, let's mention that!"
I choose to believe you’re right. Abigail has done plenty of interesting things that have nothing to do with the rest of those influencers, so… I’ll calm down I suppose.
I have no idea what Abigail and breadtube are, and I'm not sure how twitch streamers of bg3 are politically related?
I'm not saying you're wrong. I just feel like I heard something about purple panties, and then something about politics, followed by the name Abigail, and now I'm wandering around in the Underdark without darkvision! I'm really worried now that I'm about to stumble into a breadtube monster.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BreadTubeLeftists. But not all of them are "leftists." It's a catch-all term for political content creators ranging from left to far-left to very far-left.
Also by left, not "American Left" which is liberal. More like "International Left" which is socialist, communist, anarchist, or other collectivist ideology.
Also, as it is a catch-all term, there is a lot of people in that space with contradictory viewpoints and styles. Some are rather chill, and others are toxic garbage.
