Slight tangent, but is everybody else really bothered by the trend where they start a trailer by showing a 10 second trailer for the minute and a half trailer you are about to watch?
I never much cared for Paladins in the first place but they sound outright obnoxious to try to play in BG3 and try to tip-toe around breaking the oath and then if you become an oathbreaker you are outright blocked from respeccing into another class until/unless you attone. That whole class is just a giant can of nope. I've seen a lot of players say stuff like "oh I'm going to be a Paladin"...yeah ok, good luck with that...you are absolutely going to hate this.

...do you really expect that from any game before release? I have never seen any game being promoted with "text with explanations of everything" ever, especially here where the game is already based on an already existing system.

But why do they still do this for movie trailers when I’m already in the theater? Just cut that part off.
No idea. Maybe they can't be bothered to pay someone the extra time to do it?
Back on the topic of the video though, nice to hear that sword bards will focus on the dancing aspect, that's cool. And it sounds like they've put effort into the less obviously translatable wizard schools. I'm cautiously optimistic about playing a vengeance paladin. I'm still holding off until at least my second playthrough so at the very least any bugs will be fixed and I'll only have to worry about dealing with the actual oath. I wish I'd heard more about warlock patrons but I'm sure I'll enjoy warlocks no matter what.
