I've been looking up storm sorcery on fextralife, they list the abilities from the D&D ruleset. And they do not appear to be very useful in the context of the game.
Tempestuous Magic sounds cool at first glance, but....10 feet? That's really nothing. And Heart of the Storm....well, resistance is nice but will rarely be relevant. I'd rather have more lightning or thunder damage. And the other part is overly complicated and only useful if you're close to enemies. Which, as a sorcerer, I do not plan do be.
So, if I want to play a lightning and thunder-themed sorcerer, will I be better off with a draconic bloodline? Or will storm sorcery be different in the game? Does anyone know?
