Firstly, let me wish your team my heartiest congratulations on your successful launch. You folks have created an experience that will potentially set the CRPG world on fire. You deserve every bit of the accolades that you are due to receive for the creativity, effort and (most importantly) love your team has poured into this phenomenal creative work to make it a reality.

Now on to my request...

I was extremely excited to see the final release Custom Character Creation system (possibly one of the finest I have fortune to experience). So many new options? C'est magnifique! I couldn’t wait to play Half-Drow Bard with great hair! Eagerly, did I explore the various new options until I realized one key thing was missing from Custom Character Creation: Where was my beloved hairstyle number 34? [1] [2] [3]

I had employed this particular Hair #34 to play my character with great enthusiasm for almost a 2-year period of time during early-access.However, it seems after the release of patch 8 (which introduced my favourite class: Bard), Hair #34 seems to have been excluded. This option was present for most of early access…why has it been removed now? Hairstyle 34 was unique, beautifully crafted and allowed one to create a dashing avatar that resembled a rock-star god. It was rather heartbreaking to see that Hair 34 has not made its way into the custom character creation system of the final PC release of the game on Baldur's Gate 3 Launch Day. While it's certainly wonderful that you folks have introduced so many exciting new options (which I applaud), nothing brings pain to the cockles of one’s heart when a beloved option that was present for so long in early access gets cut out inexplicably in the final release.

Hair 34 is a wonderful style that our boy Astarion sports with great panache. I'm certain there are other players too who would like to have in on some of that action, with our choice of hair colour and highlights added on top. If the reason for excluding it is to allow Astarion to retain his unique appearance, I would like to request you to at least consider including close enough variant with some minor alterations (if necessary) so that the rest of us too can enjoy the benefits of being attractive to the eye. To quote our lovable Noble Rogue, "Who needs morals when you have good hair?" You folks were talented enough to pull of the feat of generating the custom Dragonborn race options. One can hope that asking you to bring back a humanoid hairstyle that was present in early access is perhaps not too much of a lift for your gifted team in comparison?

So here is my sincere appeal to you, Larian: Please bring back Hair 34 (Astarion's Hairstyle) into the Custom Character Creator as a potential option for interested players to use as part of their own character creation process when you release your next major patch.
