I have a War Domain Cleric level 1 Multiclassed into Monk level 1.

Cleric has the Charges for extra attack. Monk can get Martial Arts: unarmed Strike after attacking with Melee.
When the Monks extra Attack is used, one of the Charges from War Domain will be used up too and im not able to chain another Attack, despite not having any action point left.
In my logic, no Charges from the Clerics Domain should be used up because i used the Martial arts Strike.

Is that intended and why is that so?

Have to apologize. Didnt notice the one charge in question was used up in an earlier fight.
So if im not wrong here again this Thread has no meaning anymore.

But it would have been nice to make the extra Monk attack and then use up another charge from cleric to make one other Action not related to hit the enemy, f.e. use charge to throw something somewhere etc.
Might be i restart Game because my idea of War Domain Multiclass into Monk for this kind of having more options is not really working out when onle taking one level of Cleric then directly going int Monk at Levelup.

If you're happy with your character's race but aren't happy with their build, then you can respec their class from level 1 once you have a certain camp follower who you can get early in the game.

Just in case that saves you a lot of replaying!
