So I am now about 16 hours into the game, currently travelling through the Underdark. I have realised that it is not right for me to NOT encounter several companions - Lae’zel, Wyll and Karlach, so yes, I have searched Google to check their locations. I hate to do this, but I also hate those guys I have to travel with, I wanted Lae’zel and Karlach in my team since the announcement, and I also believe Wyll would be fine addition to them. So yeah, I googled them before I've finished the game. I got back to Wyll and Karlach with no problems, despite I have already finished all quests related to Emerald Grove.
However *spoilers ahead* I am not able to find Lae’zel. Her cage is broken and tieflings are dead *spoilers end* How do I found her? Is there some cheat-code to bring her back into the game if she was somehow deleted?
I also have a problem with Halsin. He is chilling in my camp, but he has no dialogue options to add him to the party. Is this some kind of bug? O did he get upset *spoilers ahead* that I refused sex with him? lol *spoilers end* He has weird dialogue option, something about my "strange behaviour during tieflings party". I do not remember any strange behaviour from my side, also if chosen this dialogue doesn't make clear what it's about, but Halsin confirms he is not angry at anything. But adding him to a party option doesn't appear either.

I can't get Halsin to join my party as well ... He is just chilling at the camp ... I hate to think they didn't include him as a companion, but the game keeps crashing and failing to load saves. Wouldn't surprise me if they removed a ton of planned content, exactly as DOS II...

^All major gaming internet platforms on the web list him as a companion...

I've found explanation regarding Lae'zel on Wiki: "should you set camp before encountering Lae'zel, she will free herself and attempt to find her kin on her own. As a result, she can be found dead near the Githyanki raiders".
So, any cheats to reverse this?

I can't get Halsin to join my party as well ... He is just chilling at the camp Halsin joins your camp a good while before he will actually join your party. There's a particular quest in the shadowed lands which seems to be the trigger.

Ok, so be it with Halsin. What about Lae'zel? Is it true she is irreversibly dead?

Well, I can't believe this game is so popular on Steam, so many people are playing it, but almost noone has encountered similar issues and nobody has checked the info from this wiki yet

Well, I can't believe this game is so popular on Steam, so many people are playing it, but almost noone has encountered similar issues and nobody has checked the info from this wiki yet There are tons of ways to miss companions, noteably Shadowheart. In one of my my early access playthroughs, I did nothing unusual, yet she was not lying on the beach. She made it into the grove on her own. Lae'Zel, Astarion and Gale may be missed if you don't know they exist. This is not the only game following this logic. I originally killed Zevran in DA:O because I thought he was lying. Lesson learned: ALWAYS check how and when to recruit companions in role-playing games. If you don't want there to be consequences, you need to be proactive in avoiding them. Furthermore: even if you recruit some companions, that doesn't mean they won't leave if you mess up later on. It's genuinely good to know to which locations to bring a couple of them, such as Shadowheart! Your problem was also NOT the only time you'll get locked out of content because you took too long! This will happen regularly to the unwary!

There are tons of ways to miss companions [/spoiler] Nonsense. You have to go out of your way to not find the initial companions by basically not doing any sort of exploring. Shadowheart is right down the road near the giant crypt doors if she's not on the beach so you can't miss her unless you bee-line directly through the Intellect Devourers. Same with Lae'zel. She's on the path to the grove and you can see the Tieflings at the edge of the screen as you pass near the area. Gael is only missable if you completely ignore the waypoints. Wyll you only miss if you never go to the Grove and Karlach is only missable if you never go across the broken bridge. Again, you have to put in effort to not find these people. If you aren't exploring, that is your own fault.

If you aren't exploring, that is your own fault. This will surprise you, but I've seen a lot of people say they missed X or Y. Consequently, rather than turn up my nose at them, I've accepted this as a problem (one you can find in most games). (Also, no. She's with the druids if you got my bugged problem. Chillin' on a bench. I searched the whole beach, the whole area. I couldn't find her. I had to look up where she could have gone because I feared she was dead somehow).

If you aren't exploring, that is your own fault. lol you are funny. Lae'zel is not on the path to the grove, I have moved many times through there and only found the cage after googling her location. And I missed Wyll despite 100% completing grove's missions because how should I know that there should have been some "Wyll" there? Never saw him at the grove till googling. And of course without meeting Wyll you are likely to miss Karlach as you don't have any reason to explore that part of the map. The only nonsense here is you claiming people don't putting enough efforts. Personally, I've put a lot, but in this game you NEED TO KNOW EXACTLY where to put them. And more importantly, to know there are certain time limits. I guess in my game Lae'zel was gone just because I've used long rest after the first encounter with the goblins.

Only 16 hrs? I spent 30-35 hrs before venturing on to mountain pass. Gonna also do Underdark before act 2.
"They say he who smelt it dealt it." Sooo technically... this burnt corpse is your fault officer."

^25 hours now. However, I've found Lae'zel. Just where Wiki says, except she was completely fine and has joined my party. Now waiting for Halsin to stop slackin'
