Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Suggestions & Feedback DLC season pass for BG3

I won't write too much, but I'll just say that I'm ready to buy the DLC for the same price as the whole game if it has a lot of new content. BG3 is too large and high-quality project that can be developed further.

Who supports this idea?

Hm....I would love an EXPANSION! None of those youngest DLC stuff :P

DLC is a cash grab cancer in the gaming industry and no gamer should be supporting it.

What you should be asking for instead is full expansions, the same way that games used to be.

'Small DLCs' = Pay $5 for a different colour of armour? No thanks.

For people who just want to throw money at the developers, consider buying shares in their company instead.

Larian is one of few decent producers left out there that don't simply turn their games into instant cash gabs, if you watch youtube videos on this topic, you will find a lot of gamers that aren't even interested in this genre and won't even be playing the game still buying it just to support the business model.

No, did any of you buy the new diablo game? I'm pretty sick of cut content thrown in dlcs & battlepasses now to make a extra buck.

It was mentioned multiple times they are moving onto another game, like to see how that goes.

I wouldn't say no to paying for Helia and other Origins assuming they are integrated well into the main game.

I'm all for quality DLC/expansions that add content and story and am willing to pay for that (though less so just things like item packs).

But we do already have an active thread at https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=875775 that touches on this and I'm trying to avoid duplicate simultaneous discussions where possible so I'm locking this thread. Also moving it to Suggestions & Feedback.
