Under BG3 Properties/General in Steam I've tried -dx11 and -force-d3d11...maybe one other, I forget was late 2 nights back I tried.
But nothing seemed to work to just auto-run the game in DX11 (or Vulkan) and bypass the pop-up choice? Am I missing an easy one here?
