So, I decided to not put anymore tadpoles in my brain, because that's kind of weird, especially for my righteous paladin, and only one of them giving us so much trouble already so why make it worst. But I wonder if the fact that I'm not doing that going to have any actual affect on the game whatsoever? Because, everybody so far seem to act like I actively using tadpoles powers, and the quest, on eating the first one, is still active at the end of the second act, where I am, and I'm starting to think that it is doesn't really have a difference if I eat them or no, because you kind of have to, for the plot, and I'm only just missing out on the illithid tree for no reason.
Do you think it is how it is? Can someone, maybe, confirm, with no big spoilers, if its matters or not?
