BTW this is not so unlikely a marriage as one might suppose - the medieval Tibetan Empire was a military culture of super- heavy ( mailed ) cataphract cavalry lancers ....... an interesting world of Buddhist monks, powerful fortress monasteries, arms and armourers and heavy armour, and centuries of martial exploits through Central Asia and into Tang Dynasty China, and through Nepal into India.
