Just watching this vid where he says it's not


I've not started playing yet so the answer will influence my character creation choices.

I am curious about this also. What happened here? Can we get the darkvision/obscured by shadows thing put back for tactician at least?

Edit: Apparently it's a thing in tactician but it's not listing it when you mouse over an enemy in a dark place. We need to explore this more.

Some people in the comments section of the vid are saying there is enough light on the ship (including the Flaming Sword) to negate the need for DV. Others are wondering about difficulty level.
