I'd like to think so, but I have read about people getting her approval up to max without anything to show for it.
It was a very strange decision if she was made a companion, but they did not make a romance because of which everyone wanted to see her as a companion.
I have a mixed feeling, on the one hand thanks to Larian for adding her as a companion, on the other hand she is bugged, and this game lacks romance and sex with drow
