The seriousness of this bug is that you have to face it even several hundred times per hour. That's why it is so annoying, and you should fix it ASAP. Every bug is bad but it is not so bad if you, for example, encounter one clothes clipping per hour than when you have to face Edge panning bug several hundreds times per hour.
