Shadowheart is a priestess of the goddess of darkness. Yet she has light-based spells like Light, Guiding Bolt, Beacon of Hope, Sacred Flame, Produce Flame, etc. And yet nowhere have I seen where spells like Darkness, Darkvision, Armor of Darkness, Darkbolt, etc. appear in her spell list. This seems odd, at least thematically. Is it simply because she has the generic Trickster cleric domain?

She does have some thematically appropriate spells like Blessing of the Trickster and Pass Without Trace. Yet she also light spells in abundance, which seems antithetical to Shar's goal of complete and utter darkness throughout the universe.

I'm only near the end of Act 1 but the game implies that she wasn't originally a priestess of Shar but her counterpart

All clerics have access to a common list of spells, if you are controlling Shadowheart, why not just not take the light spells that you don't think she would be willing to cast?

You control what spells she takes, and you control what spells she casts.
