Same here. when i play in fullscreen mode. But then, I find that many other games do this in fullscreen mode.
Try using borderless window mode.
Now, you make me feel just silly. I apparently did not check that particular setting even though it should have been obvious in hindsight =)
NVidia doing NVidia things and "helping" by changing settings for us =)
