With dialogues happening in cutscenes, you like to see what is going on with your character. I have a hand crossbow that has a flame enchantment, and it glows very brightly. The problem is during cutscenes, the weapon effect is extreme and is way too bright. It actually glows THROUGH my character as well. I've also had issues with the daylight spell, which was even worse, and in one act, you have to use some sort of light source for a good chunk of the time.

It'd be nice to disable those effects during cutscenes.

I raise you a Moonlight Glaive that extends far above the character's head and emits a huge wavering glow. It's actually really distracting and obscuring while exploring as well. In cutscenes it's something that would warrant a "Can you put that thing away?" from whoever you're talking to. A Glaive isn't even a very big weapon compared to some Halberds you find. With a burning Halberd I imagine it would be even worse.

They should really keep persistent effects to a minimum. It's gotten better since EA but more work is needed.
