This obviously tinged by own frustrations with WotC right now - I don't like many of the changes to 6e and I may be projecting here BUT:

the line "So we have to have the freedom to experiment and do our stuff" seems important. I seriously doubt that Larian would have made some of the changes they did - eliminating alignment, changing the racial ability score bonuses -- if Wizards hadn't asked them. It must be frustrating to develop a systems like evil playthrough / good playthough and ASI based character generation and be told that WotC has changed its mind about those features and wants you to change your mind as well. "Oh that hole you dug? Please fill it back in"

In fact the Larian CEO has a trouble keeping to script - he continually uses terms lik evil path even as the official descriptions have some nonesense about characters not being truly evil.

I surprised to find myself saying this but right now I think BG3 has done a better with Faerun lore than WotC right now. The Shar / Selune representations in the game were spot on. Shar is an evil goddess and her followers are evil.

Anyway - not to hijack - I'm indifferent about an expansion. Give Larian it's due, it gave us BG2 levels of content. Baldur's gate is huge and there are lots and lots of side quests. Do I want more? Meh. Not sure.

Despite some serious flaws I'll talk about later, I liked the story and there was some great writing in game. Sorry, not sorry, for noticing this but someone has a talent for double entendre - the bawdy bard songs in chapter 2 song book were well done.

TL;DR. I think I'm done, no DLC for me please.
