I'm playing on pc using a controller. Only trouble is its very easy to accidentally skip your turn by pressing y too soon. Can't it be a hold-y-to-end-your-turn system like in divinity? This would make the game much more user-friendly

YES PLEASE! This happens to me so much when using a controller, it's maddening!

Personally, I'd be OK with the long-press being required only when we still have our main action remaining.

Speaking of which, I'd love to have an additional button to skip the entire round rather than having to confirm end turn for every single character.

Party control in Baldur's Gate 3 is a complete mess that begs to be addressed. SAY NO TO THE TOILET CHAIN

This is definitely needed. I accidentally do this pretty much every fight.

The Controller.... controls need some work in general.

While playing with a controller, can't you just swap back to them and cancel end turn? It was a problem in EA where you can accidently skip characters turns by hitting space too many times but that seems to be fixed with the ability to cancel end turns.

@webmaster94 IME this is possible only if that character is adjacent in the initiative order to other characters who have not yet completed their turns.

You know that may be. I tend to always have characters that are next to eachother so I may not have noticed. I think the idea of having to hold y to end turn is completely valid then.

Yeah, it's been 20 damn years since a video game has brought me to the point of pounding my desk in frustration and yelling at the screen, but seems that Larian was able to find a way to drag me back to that unhappy place. I'm so fed up right now...
