True, but it makes sense - I remember when I bought my laptop it was clearly not for gaming, so I guess I can ditch the game or see if I can get the right tool - which means a new PC.

if you know anyone who has comp knowledge, bonus if they're a gamer too lol, get them to help go over anything before you buy it. while some sellers are definitely decent and helpful... a lot aren't.

YES! I bought a new machine - and now everything works fine! Sorry for bothering you, I really had no idea that my laptop was just not working well enough with the game, as I could play it quite well, apart fro the problem we discussed here. AND I am amazed how great the game is right from the beginning).

fantastic! sorry about the bad news, but hey, if you can play this now without issue, then later... if you get bored... there's other game options for you now! lol i expected the delayed reply was due to an addiction to being able to actually play properly. good luck, and you still do have a decent spare laptop for anything that doesn't require games(forums, walkthroughs etc), if you haven't gotten rid of it... i'm desktop myself, i build my own, so i can get what i want usually(sometimes you just can't find things at decent prices, but is usually cheaper in the long run).
