You are going to put the game down because of KARLACH? Why? She, they, whatever, wasn't even part of the main cast, it's more like a DLC character except they don't do DLC. I really don't get the obsession with this thing.
Baldur's Gate is a great game beyond the romance fluff, you would be missing out.
