This is absolutely true. I have actually accidently hit that button a couple of times via misclick and it is very frustrating. By the rules of 5th edition, you can actually draw weapons before an attack as a free action, but you can't draw and stow without an action. I am actually glad they switched this so that stowing doesn't require an extra action as it is more fun. The toggle light source should be the same way.
