Ok, I just got to Viconia. Really I knew of her acts ago as the moment you get
SH's flashback, you see the Sharran that saved her is a female drow and the game is making a big deal about hiding her identity, as if drow sharran wasn't enough, drow sharran that's a secret?
. But I just got the actual reveal and dialogue.

I really like this resolution of her character from BG2, she stays true to who she is, she has power and safety, she is still saving the world and stopping threats, from her perspective and doing so on her terms. Of all the old characters to show up, she like Jahiera is where she should be politically, but unlike Jahiera her organisation isn't destroyed and broken to leave her untied down enough to travel with the party, she has succeed in everything she wanted, to be recognised, safe and to serve her Goddess.

Unlike Minsc she is not unchanged, and unlike S
Sarevok she has not had her story arc reversed and reset, and yes I know she had multiple potential endings in BG2 but the one that leads to this is a valid successful choice not a fail condition the way Anchev would be
.

I like how she provides a service that genuinely helps people, but also completely fits her alignment and beliefs. It shows the variety of implementing the alignment system of D&D.

Minthara is the best character and she NEEDS to be recruitable if you side with the grove!
Also- I support the important thread in the suggestions: Let everyone in the Party Speak
