Thanks for the great game.
But I'm new to DnD and need ALOT more information:

Improved/completed infostrings:
  • 1) Has an attack/spell AoE damage or hits multiple targets? Who can be hit: Self, Ally, Enemy, Special?
  • 2) Display if a weapon can be used with a second weapon (eg Rapier can not, while shortsword can).
  • 3) Many Potions like the "increase strenght" does not show how long the effect will last.
  • 4) Direct display with what attribute a action/spell does scale (not only after hovering over "attack-dice")
  • 5) Information eg. on spells: what can surfaces caused by the spells do, eg. some are flameable and so on.
  • 6) Missing information on alot of spells: eg. the german "Schützendes Band" Spell does not mention in its description the important detail that the caster gets the same damage as the target.
  • 7) On level up: Display in tooltip also for spells if they consume a spell-slot-point when casting. I first thought this is natural, so no need of this info, but at level 4 some talents can give you real spells that dont consume this, so it is important to know this in advance.
  • 8) Display as advanced tooltip eg. on level up for actions/spells which classes can learn this and when. It is terrible for beginners to not know in advance that eg. another character can learn the same, so there is no need for current hard decision.
  • 9) For begginers an option to display the difficulty of a dice-decision before entering the dice-screen itself, so they know how difficult it will be.
  • 10) If someone from the party does (not) like what you did, please display number values always, and sometimes this is only shown for less than half a second. Also show the current number value how much they like you in the stats of the characters.
  • 11) Add all values to the damage calculation shown when hovering over an action/spell, eg. from the (german) "Hexenmeister" the "Qualvoller Strahl" adds my charisma buff to the damage of a spell, but it is not shown in the damage when hovering over the spell, although this should be always active.
  • 12) more details why the numbers are what they are. Eg. the temporary hitpoints from skills/spells, why are they that amount and by what are they increased because of my attributes or level.

All in all you really should add more fixed structure to the actions/spells tooltips that is always the same style and only use text in some special cases.

Other QoL/beginner friendly stuff regarding information:
  • 13) Please keep the order when choosing the kind of spell for spells with the "+" always the same. I always have to read and search all the buttons again, because the order changes every single time..
  • 14) Skillchecks with "this is interesting" or so should much longer highlight the "interesting" object. I often dont see it the ~1 second it currently highlights... or let us highlight it again when clicking on it in the log.
  • 15) Show expected damage next to the hitchance when hovering with an action over an enemy (eg. because of resistance the damage can different than expected).
  • 16) Add a marker/text to show what item is useless junk without any purpose. Mark important objects, eg. the first runestone to free shadowheart looks like junk.
  • 17) Be able to highlight movement range of enemies, at least the default one. And highlight own movement and also own view-area, I sometimes dont understand why my character can not see a target. BEST solution: When holding the button to command a character to a new position, allow us to control the sight direction and display the view-area while doing so and allow us to abort that command. That way we will know in advance if moving to the new position will give us view to the enemy or not.
  • 18) On level up: highlight differences in options better: Eg. the druid can choose different subclasses while for one the transform to animal is "action" while on other it is "bonusaction". This difference is only visible with carefully hovering over everything multiple times, horrible for begginers.
  • 19) On level up, be able to sort the offered skills/spells, eg. based on needed attribute or action/bonusaction or on kind of magic.
  • 20) On level up: allow us to see ALL stats and so on for this character and all others while in lvl up screen, to compare.
  • 21) What weapons do enemies have (ranged/melee)? Or display all attacks an enemy is able to do, at least if we met that enemy in the past already.
  • 22) How do I activate the short summary of stats of eg. enemies when hovering over the turn-order? I saw this on a youtube video, but don't know how to see it myself: youtube.
  • 23) Allow opening bags in merchant screen and multi-select items in merchant screen.
  • 24) Putting items in containers, like bags, should automatically stack them if possible.
