Some people are near locked out of romances when they shouldn't be. Some are not getting scenes they should when a companion is romanced. Others yet are hounded by companions who don't understand "no!". Halsin and Gale are too easy to accidentally romance with vague dialogue. Niche bugs run rampant, such as all companions deciding they're romanced and breaking up with a player on the same day. Others can't find anyone interested in them despite very high approval. The whole system is broken for perhaps half the playerbase.

Some people, including myself, are starting to believe Larian does not take sexual harrassment as seriously as they should. Even a vague "We're looking into it" could work wonders. The longer Larian is silent, the angrier people seem to get.

Not taking sides here but people need to understand the full game has only been out a week. Folks wishing for instant gratification should realize complaining on the forums won't help unless they submit game files directly to Larian support to help find some commonality between who's having a problem and who isn't. Even then, I'm pretty sure it will take months to debug.
I'm not asking for only debug. That *could* take an unacceptable amount of time. I am asking for a hot fix that introduces the option in menu to disable specific romances. That fixes the bugs and the poor programming choices which result in sexual harrassment. This is needed because the problem does not only arrive as a consequence of bugged pathing.

Reworking the romance system adequately could take months or be done never. I'm asking for something that can be done in a week, even if it's a bit clunky.
