Can you elaborate on your thoughts about it? I have experienced the fight twice now; the first time I failed because I didn't reize the attempted abduction was a mechanical thing and the second time I actually failed on purpose because I didn't have time to save the first time and I wanted to recreate what happened. The second time I actually would have succeeded if I hadn't been trying to fail. I think so at least.
