Basically the title, I saved up disguise kits for when I needed them, then the game completely ignores them it's just cosmetic for me, NPCs don't even notice
Ok spoilers for the end of the game
I turn into a mindlayer to save Orpheus, I use a disguise kit to look like an elf, The Gith knights know I'm a mind flayer, sure they're psychic, however then the hall of Flaming Fists, do, and the three you inspire to join the fight. No rolls to check performance or anything, just 'they never expected a mind flayer to help' How do they know?
Disguise kits, should disguise you, or else not be a thing
