We desperately need an Orc voice. The voices available are so far from an orc that I cant play one, and half orcs are one of my favourite races. But they do not talk with such a lilting, RP (received pronunciation, not role playing) or Queens English accent where clarity and emphasis is on every sound, like the voices you have currently. Orcs are half monster. They need a gruff, deep, mean sounding voice and if you want to give them an accent, go with a cockney, that would be best, like Rickey Gervais or Russel Brand, Essex like Gemma Collins, West Country like Hagrid from Harry Potter, South Yorkshire like Louis Tomlins, although that might be a bit difficult for some people to understand. Its a thick Brit accent from South Yorkshire or East. Scouse would work. And its relatively easy to understand but its still got that "city" sound. It was actually influenced by the Irish that settled in Liverpool. Geordie would work great, from Newcastle and the surrounding areas. Its only heard around that area and its got a lot of singular pronunciations, speakers from this area tend to use the ae sounds that end in -er and gives a quite distinctive accent. Combined with a gruff voice like Brian Blessed, Hugo Weaving when he was in V for Vendetta, and of course Tom Hardy would be brilliant (for example. I dont expect you to hire any actor to re-do the millions of lines of dialogue). Glasgow would be an awesome choice for an Orc. A Belfast accent would be capital too. But even a contemporary RP would work if you really need to get the accent as clear as possible but still have that rough almost cockney sound. But the main thing is the intonation and the actual SOUND of the voice. Your voices are great, for everyone except a Half Ork and, in my opinion, a Barbarian and Dragonborn. They should be stronger, more vibrant, more violent and more, for lack of a better term, "uneducated." Not to imply that Half orks are OVERLY stupid, although lets admit it, they do get a debuff for intelligence, or Barbarians for that matter, but look at the way Conan spoke. Forget his accent. Just think about the noises he made during sword fights. They yells. They were indicative of a warrior from the North, come to claim what is his, uneducated in the ways of the Southern cities, knowing only hardship and war. We need something like that, AT LEAST for the Orc. But preferentially for the Orc ,Barbarian and Dragonborn. I know with all the dialogue in the game it would be almost impossible to have someone come in and read all the lines, but I also know with computer sound programs you can change just about every vocal quality there is. From pitch and intonation and with a graphic equalizer you could take existing dialogue, run it through whatever vocal program you use, and get yourself a good, gruff, violet sounding vocal that would fit much, MUCH better for Orcs and Barbarians than the ones that you have to choose from now. Listening to an Orc speak the Queens English makes me shudder and totally takes me out of the immersion. So im begging you, at some point in the near future, add a new voice for the Half Orc, possibly the Barbarian, and the Dragonborn. Oi. The Dragonborn. That one makes me shudder too. They just would not sound so perfectly mannered, or at least, they wouldnt sound like they just walked out of a London Financier office. PLEASE????

I do not play as Orc nor Dwarf races, but I agree that there is a serious lack of brutishly barbarian sounding voices for such races. In fact it was one of my fears in Early Access and sad to see it became true. Nothing more immersion breaking than an Orc that sounds like a friendly English chap going to buy groceries in the morning and visit his granny for some tea on the way back grin

Something I'm mentioning all the time concerning character creation. We need something that's more than average human adventurer voices. Orc, dwarves even dragonborn Tav for me always lack immersion when they start talking. Also why is there never a voice for older people. You chose to play a wise old wizard and as soon as he opens his mouth instead of a Gandalf/Saruman styled version you get a Hogwarts student in his last semester.

We already have a thread on this topic that people can add to at https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=875568, so I'll lock this to try to try to focus feedback in one place where it's more likely to have an impact.
