Anybody who says the characters in this game are ugly have a skewed sense of what attractive people look like. Except Lae’zel. She’s a toad person. But the rest are all attractive in a grounded, realistic way. It’s good.
Characters like Leon Kennedy and Clive Rosefield are so stylized and idealized that they don’t look like real people, in the same way a Greek statue doesn’t actually look like a real person. Nothing wrong with that look, but these are different artistic approaches.
